Developing good relationships with your child doesn’t always come easy especially when life can be so busy and complicated at times. But making the time and effort to sit down together and chat honestly can reap immense benefits in the long term. Some things just aren’t that easy to talk about but hopefully you will find a range of useful tools and activities here to support you.

Use the story maker together to help your child work up one of their tasks. It’s a great tool to encourage discussions because you are creating a story about cartoon characters and not about your child! Talk about possible decisions / endings and think about what they could do if they were in a similar situation.

Don’t forget, crime can affect anyone so don’t be a victim. Take a look at the crime fighter survey or visit the hotspots to find out more.
